My heart is heavy today as I, along with many in the Baptist community, grieve the passing of Babs Baugh. But, my heart is also full of gratitude for a life of inspiration and encouragement. Babs was a force — a force of love, tenacity, generosity, humor, spunk, joy and warmth. I count myself fortunate to have known her and loved her. Her commitment to faith freedom helped sustain and advance BJC and our mission to protect everyone’s religious liberty. Her legacy lives on in her beautiful and bold family and all of those she inspired and encouraged through her amazing life.
